What Is Beltane?
Beltane, held on May 1, marks the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. It signals the return of summer and was when the cattle were driven to the summer pastures. The day was marked with bonfires, feasting, and fellowship.
As part of the celebration, cattle would be driven through the smoke from the bonfires for good luck in the coming year.

The Farm
This farm has been in our family for four generations, starting with my great-grandfather, Hjalmar Duffy.
Over the years this farm has been home to Holstein dairy cows, beef cattle, and most recently, horses.
Today, we are happy to bring a small cow herd back to the farm, starting with 4 head of Highland cattle.
Hiking & Fishing
We are lucky to have the Kittleson Creek trout stream running through our valley. If anybody has an interest, they're welcome to fish, provided you have a Wisconsin trout license. BYOP and I'll give you a shovel to dig some nightcrawlers.
Additionally, there are mowed hiking paths along the creek which are open to guests.
